The Zendesk integration imports your support tickets into Decimal, allowing the AI agent to analyze them and generate responses.

What It Does

  • Syncs tickets from your Zendesk account into Decimal
  • Writes resolutions back as comments on the original Zendesk ticket
  • Imports ticket conversations including all messages, attachments, and metadata
  • Keeps tickets updated as new messages are added in Zendesk

Connecting Zendesk

  1. Navigate to Integrations: Go to the Integrations page in the sidebar.
  2. Click Zendesk: Click on the Zendesk integration row to open the configuration modal.
  3. Enter your Zendesk subdomain: Provide your Zendesk subdomain (e.g., yourcompany for yourcompany.zendesk.com).
  4. Provide API credentials: Enter your Zendesk email and API token.
  5. Connect: Click Connect to save and begin syncing tickets.
To create a Zendesk API token, go to Apps and Integrations > APIs > Zendesk API in your Zendesk Admin Center and click Add API token.
